Trading industry executive Tiago Cardoso has joined INFINOX as the broker’s new Commercial Director.
Cardoso will be based in Dubai, which has become a key operational hub for the brokerage group. INFINOX recently acquired a Category 5 license in the United Arab Emirates, allowing it to market its products and services to clients in the Gulf state.
The new INFINOX Commercial Director joins the broker from rival brand HFM, where he was Global Head of Business Development.
Cardoso has worked in the online trading industry for 15 years. He began his career at XTB, where he spent over seven years in the broker’s Portuguese team.
He moved to INFINOX in 2019 and spent just over four years at the broker. Initially a Regional Manager in Lisbon, he was promoted on a couple of occasions and ultimately became Head of Business Development and Partners.
After INFINOX let go of a large part of its workforce in 2023, Cardoso moved to Exinity, where he was Senior Vice President in Strategic Business Development.
He then joined HFM in late 2024 as Global Head of Business Development.
INFINOX has been building up steam over the last couple of years. The broker was taken over by a new group of investors led by Marc Joppeck in late 2024. The company has since acquired M4Markets, expanded its licensing footprint and recently announced its sponsorship of Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur.
