Tickmill holds first event in Morocco

Brokerage group Tickmill held its first ever live event in Morocco earlier this month.

The company’s Arabic team held a seminar and wider event at a hotel in the country’s largest city – Casablanca.

Tickmill held the event with a local partner and gave attendees the opportunity to access a live, funded account.

Although it may not seem to be on many firm’s radars, Morocco looks to be an increasingly competitive market.

XM and Exness are both heavily targeting the country, with both firms scoring high on finance app downloads across both iOS and Android devices. MetaTrader 4 ranks highly too, suggesting other firms are targeting the country too.

Exness also announced the addition of a new ‘Team Pro’ member at the end of September, Salim Djerrar, who is based in Algeria – presumably with the intention of picking up more business in the Maghrebi countries
