Brokerage group Trive has onboard Sunny Lethyy as Head of Sales, where she will be focused on Vietnam and the wider ASEAN region.
Lethyy was previously representing another brokerage group in Vietnam. She has also had stints at AUS Prime and GTC Global Trade.
Lethyy started her career in the brokerage industry a decade ago at Exness, where she spent four years in the broker’s partner sales team.
After leaving Exness in 2015, she moved to MH Markets. She worked at the firm for three years before leaving in mid-2022.
ASEAN has long been a target region for the brokerage industry, given the countries have large populations and are increasingly wealthy.
That appears to have ramped up in the last few years though. That is due to the fact that Europe is becoming an increasingly difficult market to do business in, primarily due to regulatory restrictions.
