Exclusive: Lochlan White joins Scope Prime as Chief Commercial Officer

Lochlan White has joined Scope Prime, the institutional arm of Rostro Group, as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).

White joins the firm from 26 Degrees, where he spent over a decade and was the firm’s Chief Commercial Officer for the EMEA region.

In a statement, Scope Prime said that White will be based in the company’s Cyprus office.

“The mission at Scope Prime to go out and actively develop new markets, is something that truly excites me,” said White. “In addition to the full-service proposition, ranging from market data to execution, liquidity and reporting, it’s the desire to push into new territories with innovative trading instruments that sets ScopePrime apart. I look forward to working with Dan and the team in the months and years ahead.”

Scope Prime has been building up its team since the Rostro Group took over Scope Markets at the start of 2023.

In July, the company hired former Maybank prime broker executive Miranti Rostian as Head of Southeast Asia.

The month prior to that, Scope confirmed that it had appointed Andrew Taylor as Head of APAC. Taylor previously headed up ACY Securities’ institutional team and also had a stint as General Manager at IC Markets.

“In recent months we have been making a series of senior hires globally as we look to grow our institutional liquidity offering,” said Scope Prime CEO Daniel Lawrence. “Adding Lochlan as CCO will be instrumental in ensuring the team can operate within a robust framework, allowing even more institutional counterparties to connect with our liquidity pools in a seamless manner.”
