- Limited number of challenges
Safety
We see trust and safety as the most important parts of signing up to a prop firm. ATFunded is really strong in this regard and we believe traders can feel comfortable they’re in good hands when trading with the firm. There are a few reasons for that.
Backed by ATFX
ATFunded is backed by the ATFX brokerage group, which is regularly ranked as one of the 10 largest brokers in the world by trading volume.
ATFX has one of the most experienced sets of executives in the online trading industry today and the group is regulated by a number of leading financial authorities around the world.
We think this gives a lot of credibility to ATFunded as it shows the prop firm is backed by a highly credible business, with an extremely experienced management team.
We have met the ATFX team and work with their institutional trading company – ATFX Connect – regularly. Consequently we know the team well and know that traders are in safe hands when trading with them.
The bottom line is that if you trade with ATFunded, you are trading with a prop firm that is backed by a highly respected group of companies, with a lot of experience, strong industry knowledge, good corporate governance standards.
CEO is open and transparent
Something else we like about ATFunded when it comes to trust is the fact the firm’s CEO is open on X and other social media platforms. Unlike other firms, we see it as a real positive that the CEO of the firm is public-facing and willing to deal with comments and questions openly.
TrustPilot Score
ATFunded has a high 4.6 score on Trustpilot as of December 2025. We would also note that most of the negative comments on the ATFunded Trustpilot come from people who tried and failed to scam the firm. Consequently the firm’s score would be even higher were it not for those people.
Community
ATFunded has a large Discord server where you can interact with other traders that use the prop firm. The ATFunded are also very active on the Discord channel, so you can ask questions and get answers quickly. The team are open and you can see in plenty of threads that they don’t hide from critiques or tough questions about their challenges and rules – a real positive for the firm.
A-Book Model
ATFunded runs a full or partial A-book prop firm model. That means traders on funded accounts are either fully or partially trading on an A-book account.
ATFunded is one of the only prop firms that runs this model and shows both the operational sophistication of the firm and its alignment with traders.
Challenges
ATFunded Pro
| Account size | Profit target (6%) | Drawdown limit |
|---|---|---|
| $10,000 | $600 | $500 |
| $50,000 | $3,000 | $2,000 |
| $100,000 | $6,000 | $3,000 |
| $150,000 | $9,000 | $4,500 |
One key point to note about the drawdown limit in the ATFunded Pro account is it rises with your account balance but is also capped at the account balance level. So if you had a $10,000 account, your drawdown limit level could rise from $9,500 to $9,800 but it could not exceed $10,000.
ATFunded 2-Phase Challenge
ATFunded 2-Phase Challenge is a classic two-step challenge that gives traders access to up to $200,000 in funding. Traders must hit an 8% profit target in the first step and then a 5% profit target for the second phase to get a funded account.
Traders must have a minimum of three profitable trading days to pass the two funded account stages. There is no time limit on any of the stages though and funded accounts have no profit targets or time limiting factors attached to them.
Profit splits for the ATFunded 2-Phase accounts are 80%, with a maximum allocation of $200,000.
| Account size | Phase 1 profit target (8%) | Phase 2 profit target (5%) | Daily drawdown (4%) | Max drawdown (10%) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $5,000 | $400 | $250 | $200 | $500 |
| $10,000 | $800 | $500 | $400 | $1,000 |
| $25,000 | $2,000 | $1,250 | $1,000 | $2,500 |
| $50,000 | $4,000 | $2,500 | $2,000 | $5,000 |
| $100,000 | $8,000 | $5,000 | $4,000 | $10,000 |
| $200,000 | $16,000 | $10,000 | $8,000 | $20,000 |
It’s important to note that the max and daily drawdowns rise with your account balance. For example, if you were on a $100,000 account and your balance rose to $102,000, your new daily drawdown would be $4,080 – or 4% of $102,000.
Rules
ATFunded has a number of rules that are designed to prevent gambling, stop scammers, and encourage traders to behave consistently. The idea is to make sure that traders that do get funding are not lucky or gaming the system, but can actually trade profitably.
Core trades and minimum trades
ATFunded has minimum trading days and profitability rules for both of its challenges. The goal of these is to prevent people from gambling or scamming the prop firm to get a funded account.
The same is true for ‘core trades’ in the ATFunded funded account stage. For all funded accounts with ATFunded, traders must trade in a certain size and a minimum number of times. Again, the goal is to encourage consistent trading performance from funded traders.
News trading
News trading is not allowed on ATFunded, which means you cannot open trades or set up stop losses within a five-minute window of economic events. Traders have a calendar on the ATFunded dashboard, so they can see when prohibited trading events are coming up.
EAs and copy trading
ATFunded allows EAs and other similar trading strategies, so long as they are your strategies and you are not either copying someone else’s trades or running an off-the-shelf product.
Prohibited strategies
ATFunded does not permit a number of trading strategies that are designed to abuse prop firms. That includes:
Latency arbitrage
Reverse hedging
HFT and tick scalping
One-sided bets
Account gambling
As you can see, the prohibited strategies all relate to either gambling, scamming, or abusing. We think these are all reasonable rules for traders as a result.
Fees
ATFunded fees are very favourable to traders and we think this is one of the best parts of the firm. At TradeInformer, we use a proprietary system to measure prop fees, by measuring their sustainability and value for money.
| ATFunded Pro Challenge Fees | ||
|---|---|---|
| Account size | Evaluation Fee | Activation Fee |
| $10,000 | $25 | $25 |
| $50,000 | $49 | $149 |
| $100,000 | $99 | $149 |
| $150,000 | $149 | $149 |
ATFunded scores a 10/10 from us in this regard. This is because its pricing fits very evenly between being sustainable and offering good value for money.
| ATFunded 2-Phase Challenge Fees | |
|---|---|
| Account size | Evaluation Fee |
| $5,000 | $35 |
| $10,000 | $69 |
| $25,000 | $135 |
| $50,000 | $250 |
| $100,000 | $460 |
| $200,000 | $920 |
Commissions
When you trade on ATFunded, all trades are simulated. That also includes commissions. To make sure your trading strategy will work on a live account, ATFunded charges a $5 per lot commission across all asset classes. This is something to keep in mind when trading.
Spreads
As with commissions, when you trade on ATFunded, you get simulated spreads, just like you get simulated commissions. ATFunded gets raw pricing from the wider ATFX group, meaning you do not have to worry about huge markups impacting your potential payouts when trading with the firm.
Assets
ATFunded gives traders access to the major financial assets that they want to trade in, across FX, commodities, indices, and cryptocurrency markets.
It’s worth noting that crypto is not available in the ATFunded Pro account.
Although there may be some more niche products that traders want access to, the large majority of traders will have the assets that they want to trade when using ATFunded.
| Asset class | Total available | Popular example |
|---|---|---|
| FX Majors | 7 | EUR/USD |
| FX Minors | 8 | EUR/CHF |
| FX Exotics | 5 | USD/MXN |
| Indices | 15 | US500 |
| Metals | 2 | XAU/USD |
| Cryptos | 4 | BTC/USD |
| Energy | 2 | BRENT |
ATFunded basically offers what most traders want to trade in. Unless you are looking for something niche or very specific, the prop firm has what you want to trade.
Leverage
Leverage for the assets that you can trade with ATFunded varies, depending on the instrument.
You can see a breakdown of this below:
| Asset | Leverage |
|---|---|
| FX | 30:1 |
| Crypto | 2:1 |
| Metals | 20:1 |
| Indices | 20:1 |
| Energy | 10:1 |
Technology
There are two core systems that power ATFunded – its dashboard and trading platform.
Trading dashboard
The ATFunded dashboard is a simple way to see your account, buy new challenges, analyse your trading activity and more. The main features include:
- Buy challenges: purchase new challenges for ATFunded
- Analytics: examine your performance in current challenges
- Economic Calendar: see what news events to avoid trading in to prevent account breaches
- Affiliate options: share the ATFunded programme and get rewarded
- Download options: get access to the ATFunded trading platform
You can see a screenshot of our dashboard below.
The part we liked most about the dashboard is its simplicity and analytical tools. It makes it very easy to analyse your trading activity, purchase challenges, and see whether or not you are going to break any rules.
Trading Platform
ATFunded currently offers access to MetaTrader 5.
This is one of the most popular platforms globally and if you are a trader, then the odds are you are already familiar with the platform.
There are lots of benefits to the platform, including:
- Huge library of indicators and custom plugins
- Simple, intuitive interface that’s good for beginners and experts
- Supports automated strategies through Expert Advisors
- Strong charting tools with customizable layouts
- Easy backtesting environment for strategy development
Payouts
Traders can request a payout once every fortnight once they hit a target in their funded account. Note that this does not mean it will take a fortnight to process the payment. It just means you can only request one payout every two weeks.
Payouts are processed fast and can be facilitated by whatever payment method the trader requests.
The minimum payouts differ between the two challenges that the prop firm offers.
ATFunded Pro: Minimum payout is $125
ATFunded 2-Phase: Minimum payout is $100
For ATFunded Pro accounts, there is also a $5,000 withdrawal limit for the first two payouts. After that there is no cap on the amount you can receive as a payout. For 2-Phase accounts there is no payout limit.
Payments
Traders can use a range of payment methods to buy challenges with ATFunded. That includes:
- Visa and Mastercard
- Crypto payments
- E-wallets – Skrill and Neteller
- Local payment methods, including PIX, Multibanco, and Blik
Ultimately no trader should face any payment problems when buying a challenge with ATFunded. The only thing to be careful of is crypto, as you will have to cover any exchange or transaction fees that your crypto exchange or e-wallet service provider charges.
Unique Features
There are so many prop firms out there that it can be hard to know how to differentiate between firms.
ATFunded has a number of unique features for traders that we think make it a much more compelling prop firm to choose for traders.
Analytics Dashboard
ATFunded has a dashboard on its website that allows you to get deep, granular insights into how traders are performing on the ATFunded platform.
Called the Performance Hub, the dashboard is free to access and lets you see things like:
- The most profitable assets for traders
- Most popular assets on ATFunded
- Highest payout for traders
You can also filter on to specific instruments to see how profitable traders have been on them and what the win/loss ratio on trades has been.
Not only is the Performance Hub a useful tool for traders, it’s also another sign of the transparency that ATFunded offers. Very few prop firms are willing to share this sort of information publicly.
ATFunded Plus+
One of the coolest features on the ATFunded platform is ATFunded Plus+. This allows funded traders to become copy traders within the wider ATFX ecosystem.
That means successful traders not only generate profits from their own trading activity, but they get to keep 20% of all profits that the traders who copy them generate too. This is a massive profit split for a copy trading system.
Getting access to ATFunded Plus+ is possible if you receive three funded account payouts from the prop firm. This can be on either of the prop firm’s challenges.
A-Booking
Maybe the best thing about ATFunded is the fact they have systems in place to a-book trades. All funded accounts get some level of a-book processing, with the prop firm’s goal to ultimately send all trades to the live market.
Ultimately a prop firm that does not send any live trades to the market does have a conflict of interest with its traders. That’s not to say they’ll act on that conflict, but it is there. The fact ATFunded does A-book trades means that conflict is not there.
On top of that, we think the fact the firm is capable of analysing trading activity and then knowing what trades to send to market is a great sign of the strength the firm has in-house to manage its operations and trading activity. Not many props have this expertise.
Final Thoughts
Overall we like ATFunded as it’s a prop firm that you can trust, it offers good pricing for traders, and the two challenges the firm offers are likely to fit with what different types of traders want.
Fundamentally we think the firm’s set up shows it is more serious and geared towards actually finding traders who know what they are doing. The fact the firm A-books trades, has strong institutional backing, and is regularly transparent about its operations, shows this is a prop firm traders can feel comfortable using.
