Match-Trade adds tournaments, TradingView charts to Match-Trader platform

After announcing last week that it had added TradingView to the Match-Trade platform, technology provider Match-Trade Technologies announced on Thursday that it has also added a new feature for adding tournaments.

The new products are aimed at brokers and props, with clients for both types of firm increasingly favouring TradingView charting. As noted in our prior report, the update means that clients using Match-Trade can toggle between the company’s proprietary charting and TradingView’s.

“By integrating TradingView charts directly into our platform, we are addressing a key challenge faced by traders who need robust, versatile tools within a unified interface,” said Alexis Droussiotis, Head of the Match-Trader platform. This upgrade underscores our commitment to meeting traders’ needs and enhancing their trading environment.”

Tournaments are also becoming increasingly popular across both industries, although they are arguably more a feature of the prop trading industry.

The new feature means that brokers and props using Match-Trade can offer their clients customisable tournaments. These are often a good way of offering clients an environment to trade in, without them having to make a buy decision.

Several brokers have been offering this sort of product too. For example, Titan FX currently offers clients tournament trading and London-based IG Group’s French entity ran a trading tournament, on demo accounts, with prizes offered for winners.
