Brokerage group DB Investing has hired Syed Ahmmed as its new Chief Business Development Officer.
Ahmmed joins the company from OneRoyal, where he was Regional Head of Business Development for Southeast Asia, the Indian subcontinent, and Oman.
During his time at the broker, Ahmmed oversaw a significant increase in client deposits and numbers for the regions under his oversight.
Ahmmed originally joined OneRoyal in 2022 as a Senior Business Development Manager. He then left the broker for a brief stint at Zara FX, but then returned to OneRoyal a couple of months later.
Prior to OneRoyal, Ahmmed worked for broker GMI in Malaysia.
DB Investing is based in the UAE and has a local license in the country, along with other entities in Mauritius and the Seychelles. The broker also operates a regulated payments company in Canada.
