Brokerage firm Vantage has completely removed its Vanuatu entity from the MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 platforms.

Data showed to TradeInformer indicates the firm has scrapped 35 MetaTrader licences over the last couple of months, across both of the MetaTrader platforms.

Assuming the figures are accurate, this would represent almost half of the firm’s active MetaTrader servers across both platforms. It is unclear if these were all tied to the Vanuatu entity.

Accessing the company’s brands within the MetaTrader platforms also draws a blank as the entity appears to no longer be listed there. A Cayman Islands entity was briefly listed last month but has since been removed.

Vantage still has a license in Vanuatu, so the change does not appear to be due to a revocation of its regulatory approvals in the country.

The change with regard to MetaTrader comes after some big moves at the firm in April.

Vantage’s UK entity announced that it would stop offering PAMM accounts to clients. At the same time, two senior executives at that entity departed.

Around the same time, the broker almost entirely removed the Vanuatu branding and legal name from its core VantageMarkets.com website. SimilarWeb data shows that almost 5% of the more than 5m visits to that website last month came from the UK.
