Rostro Group, the owner of retail broker Scope Markets, announced on Thursday that it has hired Hesham Hasanin as its new Head of Trade Solutions.

“His arrival further signals our ambition within the sector. Hesham brings a wealth of experience in systems, controls, and governance, and he will be instrumental in driving our growth across all business pillars. He’ll also help advance our DMA capabilities, improve platform coverage across IRESS, CQG, and others, and build a strong support structure around our FX and Crypto market-making operations.’
Hasanin joins the company from rival brand Equiti Group, where he was Chief Product Officer, working from the firm’s office in Jordan.
During almost seven years at Equiti, Hasanin held several senior roles, including working as CEO of the company’s Cypriot entity and Global Head of Trading Solutions for the company as a whole.
Hasanin has held technology roles in the online trading industry for over two decades.
He began his career at now defunct broker Crown Forex and worked at the firm for over ten years.
After leaving Crown Forex in 2015, he held senior roles at Valutrades and CPT Markets, before joining Equiti in 2018.
