Dubai-based broker DB Investing said on Wednesday that it has hired Nomena Khan as its new Business Development Manager.
Khan joins the firm from offshore broker Shenzou Capital, which appears to have shut down. She worked at the firm for just over 12 months as Head of Sales.
Prior to Shenzou Capital, she worked at PMFinancials, a Mauritius-regulated firm, which also seems to have its main base of operations in the United Arab Emirates.
Before moving in-house to work for a broker, Khan appears to have run an introducing broker style business based in Pakistan.
DB Investing still hiring
Like most other players in the industry today, DB Investing relies heavily on introducing broker networks to do business.
The company has licenses in the Seychelles and the UAE, as well as different marketing and payments entities in places like Saudi Arabia, Canada, and Cyprus.
The broker appears to do most of its business in the ASEAN region and the Middle East.
Khan is also unlikely to be the last hire the firm makes. DB Investing is still hiring for more than 20 roles, primarily in the MENA region.
