Dubai-based neobroker amana said on Monday that it appointed Andrey Artamonov as Chief Technology and Information Officer.
As the company expands across the Middle East, Artamonov will be responsible for application development, corporate IT, business intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure and platform operations.
The former Devexperts CTO spent 17 years at the trading technology vendor, where he led an engineering team of over 700 people during his nine years as chief technology officer. He most recently founded TripleA Digital, a Lisbon-based consultancy focused on automation and AI solutions for financial workflows.
“As we continue to grow, we’re investing in the people who can help us build faster and at a larger scale,” said Muhammad Rasoul, CEO of amana. “Andrey has spent his career developing technology for some of the world’s leading financial institutions, and we’re excited to have him join the team.”
amana said it has a user base of more than 500,000 across the Middle East and offers access to over 6,800 assets. The company said the appointment supports continued growth and product development as it expands its platform footprint in the region.
