BDSwiss LATAM marketing manager departs

Brokerage group BDSwiss’s marketing manager for the Latin America (LATAM) region has left the company after almost three years with the firm.

Marc Suarez joined the firm at the end of 2021 and was working from Spain. He previously worked at Cypriot consulting firm KC Firiakis.

BDSwiss has seen a wave of resignations over the last month. That includes the company’s long-time Chief Sales Officer Nicole Heinrich, who had been with the firm for close to a decade.

The company has said publicly that it is ‘restructuring’ and will stop operating in certain jurisdictions.

BDSwiss had expanded very aggressively in the last two to three years. Like some other firms, the company probably got a big boost because of covid-induced volatility.

However, many firms that then hired extensively in the wake of the pandemic then had to massively cut back, when market conditions became more subdued.
