Christoforos Soutzis made Capital.com EU CEO

Brokerage group Capital.com announced on Wednesday that it has appointed Christoforos Soutzis as CEO of its European business.

Soutzis is based in the company’s headquarters for its European business in Cyprus.

He has been with Capital.com since the company’s inception in 2016, when he joined as Head of Risk. Prior to taking up his new role he was Group Head of Operations at the firm.

“I am honoured to take up this new role at Capital.com,” said Soutzis. “I have been with the company almost from its inception and have seen it go from strength to strength. I am excited to help steer the company into its next  phase as we continue to deliver the best trading experience for our customers.”

Alongside the announcement about Soutzis, Capital.com also announced that Kypros Zoumidou, who had been Group CEO, has left the company.

“I am proud of the role I have played in making Capital.com one of the world’s leading trading platforms, I am grateful for the opportunity to have played a leading role in the company’s incredible growth and have full confidence in the new leadership team and structure.”
