Daman Markets sponsors ‘1000 Miglia’ in UAE

Broker Daman Markets announced on Thursday that it is sponsoring the ‘1000 Miglia’ race, which is set to take place in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from December 1st to December 5th.

The 1000 Miglia started in 1927 as a 1,000 mile race that takes place on open, public roads.

It ended in 1957 due to accidents but was revived in 1977 as something like a race and showcase event for vintage cars.

The UAE event is the first of its kind and will feature 120 vintage cars doing a lap around the UAE, finishing in Abu Dhabi, over the course of five days.

Daman Markets will have a booth and VIP lounge at the event, which will provide visitors with a chance to learn more about trading and the company’s offering.

A number of local influencers and celebrities, including Sara Alwari, will attend the booth. They will also be driving in two Daman Markets rally cars that will take part in the race.

“Our aim is to bring the same focus and precision from the racetrack to the financial markets,” said Daman Markets CEO Samer Mourched. “Sponsoring this iconic rally underscores our commitment to driving traders forward by combining classic tradition with modern innovation.”

This is the second major sponsorship agreement that Daman Markets has undertaken.

Last month the company announced that it will be sponsoring the Dubai Racing Club – a horse racing organisation in the Emirate.

Both sponsorship agreements appear to be part of an effort to build a premium brand-type reputation for the firm.
