Brokerage group IC Markets has hired Karam Abu Qoura as a Risk Analyst in its Dubai office.
Abu Qoura joins the brokerage group after a brief stint at rival broker Stonefort, which has a license in Mauritius.
He started his career in the online trading industry at Jordanian firm INGOT Brokers. During his four years at the firm, he worked as a financial markets analysis, helping to manage the broker’s dealing desk.
After leaving INGOT Brokers in 2021, he moved to Admirals’ Dubai office, where he spent just over two years. He then moved to MultiBank, where he also worked in the broker’s dealing team.
IC Markets has been shifting its key team members to its office in Dubai over the last 12 months.
The company brought in Angus Walker as its Global Head of Trading and also recently announced the appointment of Jason Hughes as its General Manager for the Middle East.
As reported on TradeInformer last week, the move to Dubai is part of a wider plan the broker has to drive growth globally.
