Brokerage group INFINOX has partnered with Carlos Casagrande, a Brazilian actor, model and social media influencer.
Casagrande was introduced to the broker’s partners and clients as its brand ambassador at the company’s first event of the year in Brazil last week.
The broker has been active in LATAM for a long time now but has made a bigger push into the Brazilian market over the last six months or so.
INFINOX hired Thadeu dos Santos from Hantec Markets as its Regional Director for the country. Santos worked for Hantec Markets for close to five years and was the broker’s Hantec Head of Client Relations and Business Development for the Brazilian market.
The broker also held an event in Sao Paolo towards the end of last year, with partners and clients invited to join the firm at an event that the broker held at a Formula 1 race. INFINOX is currently a sponsor of the Alpine F1 Team.
The new partnership with Casagrande is likely an attempt to further the broker’s presence in Brazil.
Casagrande already works as a brand ambassador for several firms, including a payments company called Conta iP and a couple of medical clinics.
Direct marketing in Brazil can be difficult to achieve, which is why brokers typically have to partner with local players or sell other products, which is what ActivTrades does.
