Nick Twidale joins ATFX as Chief Market Analyst

Brokerage group ATFX announced on Thursday that it has appointed Nick Twidale as Chief Market Analyst.

The broker now has 13 analysts on its staff, covering all trading sessions globally.

ATFX told TradeInformer that Twidale will provide a mix of market commentary, videos, and other content to support ATFX clients.

He is well placed to do so. Twidale has a wealth of experience in the retail broker industry, having most recently spent just over three years as CEO of FP Markets APAC.

He has also had stints at IC Markets and Rakuten, but spent over a decade of his career working on FX desks at investment banks – Commonwealth Bank and RBC Capital Markets.

“I am delighted to welcome Nick to ATFX,” said Simon Naish, ATFX Country Head for Australia. “His proven track record in producing quality market commentary and analysis can only enhance our global offering, and his appointment marks another significant milestone in our commitment to the region.”

ATFX continues its hiring spree

As noted in one of our recent articles, ATFX has made a range of senior hires since the start of the year. By our calculation, the group of new hires has over 100 years of combined experience in the FX/CFD industry.

That includes FXCM Founder Drew Niv, who joined the company as Chief Strategic Officer, as well as several key hires in the company’s Dubai office.

The most recent hire at the broker was Siju Daniel, who spent over 15 years at FXCM and was most recently the broker’s Chief Commercial Officer.
