Brokerage executive Ollie Rosewell has been made Chief Executive Officer of Eightcap’s UK entity.
Rosewell joined Eightcap in 2019 as Chief Marketing Officer, shortly before the Aussie broker set up an entity in the UK.
He has worked in financial services for two decades. Originally in the asset management space, he moved to IG Group in 2008 and spent seven years at the broker in marketing roles.
After leaving the company in 2015, he went on to hold senior marketing roles at London Capital Group and ETX Capital, before moving to Eightcap.
There have been a couple of significant changes at Eightcap over the last couple of months.
The broker’s former CEO Alex Howard left the company, as did Carlos Cadavid, the broker’s Latin America commercial director.
Eightcap let go a large part a large number of staff in its Bulgarian office this year as well.
The broker also recently hired long-time CMC Markets and IG Group dealing exec Neil Emmerson as its Head of UK Trading Risk.
