Kraken has integrated its Kraken Prime platform with Trever, allowing European financial institutions to access institutional crypto trading and custody services through Trever’s digital asset operating system.

The integration enables banks and brokers using Trever to execute trades, settle assets into qualified custody, and record transactions without leaving their existing operational environment. The service is available to eligible Kraken Prime and Trever clients.

Kraken Prime provides institutional trading across more than 20 liquidity venues, with smart order routing and algorithmic execution for larger trades. The platform also offers custody and other services through a single interface.

Trever’s platform is used by financial institutions to manage digital asset operations, including trading, treasury, settlement, and bookkeeping. The companies said the integration adds Kraken Prime’s execution and custody capabilities to Trever’s existing infrastructure.

Trever provides digital asset infrastructure for banks and brokers operating in Europe, with a platform designed to support institutions managing crypto assets under the European Union’s Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) framework.

Kraken continues to expand its institutional offering through Kraken Prime, which combines trading, custody and settlement services for professional and institutional clients.
