Scope Prime, the B2B arm of financial services firm Rostro Group, announced on Thursday that it has hired Debbie Georgiou.
She will be based in the company’s Cyprus office and will work as Institutional Business Development Manager.
The prime services provider said that Georgiou will be tasked with managing existing clients in the EMEA region, as well as driving new business for the company.
“As our business continues to scale, we have seen first-hand the benefit of building out an experienced, talented and localised business development team,” said Scope Prime Chief Commercial Officer Lochlan White.
“This approach has already been a huge success across the Asia Pacific region so the creation of this dedicated role to cover EMEA is just one part of the next phase in our wider growth story. I am confident Debbie will play a key role in helping the Scope Prime team deliver against our shared objectives.”
Georgiou joins the firm from Deriv Prime, the institutional arm of brokerage group Deriv.
She has worked in the brokerage industry for over five years and has held retail-facing roles, as well as working on the institutional side of the business.
“The growth seen by Scope Prime over the last few years has been amazing to watch,” said Georgiou. “With the company becoming a true industry powerhouse, I’m delighted to be joining and look forward to making my own contribution to driving the brand’s ongoing success.”
